Wild Goose Filling has had the privilege of supporting our Flock of customers and the beverage industries we served for decades, and we have valued your trust in our filling innovations and goal to get world-class drinks into more hands around the globe.
However, the past several years have been challenging for craft beverage makers, and the reverberations have been felt throughout the entire industry supporting them. Decreased demand and increased pricing pressures, combined with an oversupply of used equipment in the secondary market, are just a few of the broader headwinds facing the equipment sector. These factors have significantly impacted our ability to operate sustainably.
Unfortunately, we do not see a rapid recovery in the market or conditions that would support a return to sustainable operations in the foreseeable future. After careful consideration of these factors and the outlook ahead, we have made the difficult decision to cease operations at Wild Goose at the end of the year.
Given the enduring lifecycle and purposeful workmanship quality of Wild Goose canning and Meheen bottling systems, we are confident our customers will be able to continue operating their equipment for decades to come. We intend to work with our Flock through the end of the year to understand their immediate and future needs and provide recommendations to keep their equipment performing long-term as intended. We aim to strategically reinforce that effort by offering discounted parts inventory until the business closure.
It has been an amazing journey with you all, and we look forward to having a beer in person to say thank you for your years of support.
